How to Search and Select Products
The SMART Papers Store gives you on-line access to the entire collection of SMART Papers premium coated, uncoated and digital printing papers.
You have several ways to browse our store, select products and place orders with SMART Papers:
- Product/Brand: If you are familiar with SMART Papers products, you may select your favorite brand or review our brands to see which may suit your project or requirements.
- Coated Papers and Uncoated Papers: Browse and select products from our collection of coated papers which includes our Kromekote Collection and Knightkote Matte or our uncoated papers which includes our diverse selection of Text and Cover papers.
- Writing, Text and Cover Papers: If you know the weight or application of the type of paper you are looking for, you may search the SMART Papers collection by:
- Writing Papers: lightweight papers for stationery, letters, flyers, announcements, newsletters
- Text Papers: medium weight papers for brochures, reports, proposals, catalogs
- Cover Papers: heavyweight papers for covers, folders, menus, tags, cards, packaging
- Digital Papers: If you are specifically interested in coated and uncoated papers designed for desktop, office and/or commercial inkjet and laser printing, you may search our SMART Digital papers collection by selecting Digital Papers.
- Finish: If you are interested in a specific paper finish (e.g. smooth, vellum, embossed, etc.) you may browse our entire selection by finish type. We offer 15 finishes to choose from.
- Color: If you are interested in a specific paper color for your project, you may search our entire line of products by color selection.
- End Use: If you have a specific application in mind, you may search our selection for recommended papers for selected end-use applications.
- Stock Item: If you are familiar with the product you want and know the SMART Papers stock code number, you may enter the stock code number and go directly to that item for ordering.
How to Place an Order
- Find the brand or collection of papers from which you would like to order.
- Enter the quantity of items you would like to purchase from the product(s) selections you have chosen.
- Select "Order". You may view your Shopping Cart to view contents or make changes at any time by clicking on "View Cart". Remember to click "Update" after you make any changes to your Shopping Cart order.
- Select "Checkout" and follow the directions to complete your order.
Please note that when you select Checkout you enter the security section of the smartpapersstore.com website. Your information and credit card numbers are not stored by SMART Papers. For more information, please review our privacy policy.
Phone and Fax Orders
You may order by phone or fax order form. To order by phone, please call toll free to the SMART Papers Store at 877-568-3234 or fax your order to 800-845-4500. You will receive normal e-mail confirmation when your order is entered and shipped.

Sample orders are shipped to you with a flat fee of $8.95 per sample request.

You may wish to register with smartpapersstore.com which will remember your account information and make it easy and convenient to use the smartpapersstore.com when placing subsequent orders. You may register by clicking My Account at any time or Create an Account at checkout.
Registration at smartpapersstore.com is purely optional. We will store your name and address information and will not store your credit card information. Please see our privacy policy for more information.
SMART Papers will periodically notify registrants of the smartpapersstore.com of special offers available on our products.
Credit Card Payment
You may use American Express, Mastercard or Visa credit cards when you place your on-line order or when ordering by phone or fax. Your card will not be billed until your order is shipped.
Sales Tax
Where applicable, state and local taxes will be added to your purchase.
Order Entry and Shipping Acknowledgements
You will receive an e-mail order acknowledgment at the time of order entry and a second e-mail shipping acknowledgement when your order is shipped by the SMART Papers Store.
Shipping Charges and Options
Shipping charges are based upon the weight of your order, destination, method of shipment and any special requirements you may have.
Individual reams, cut-size cartons and SMART Pak are shipped by UPS or Federal Express based upon your choice at the time of checkout. Options ranging from Ground Service (least expensive) to Overnight Delivery (most expensive) are available.
Larger sheet size flat cartons weighing more than 80 lbs are only shipped by Federal Express Freight. These heavier, larger size carton(s) are packed on a shipping pallet for protection from damage during shipment.
For Canadian shipments, all fees related to the Canadian Goods and Services Tax are the responsibility of the purchaser and will not be included in order charges on Canadian shipments.
Order Fulfillment
Orders will ship within one business day of receipt of order per your chosen shipment option. Normal business hours are Monday-Friday, 8 am – 5:00 pm EST.
Returns
If you have SMART Papers product that you purchased at the smartpapersstore.com that is either unopened or is product with which you are dissatisfied, please call the SMART Papers Store toll free at 877-568-3234 and a Customer Service Representative will review your order, and also help with any questions you may have and issue a return authorization number.
You may return any unopened paper within 45 days of receipt for a full refund of the cost of your product and any sales tax. Please supply your return authorization number when returning product as this helps the SMART Papers Store track your return. Your original order shipping costs will not be refunded or any costs incurred to return the product.
